Welcome to Tangelo Creative's second e-news for 2010. It's hard to believe we are already into the second quarter of the year. Business confidence seems to be improving. Here at Tangelo it's been an interesting quarter with a number of interesting projects and new clients coming on-board.

In February, we said good-bye to Lena.  She decided to go back to the world of magazine publishing. We wish her well for the future.

In Feb, Tangelo Creative welcomed two highly qualified designers to our team - John Pallett and Tina Foreman. Both have been designers for 20+ years and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience.  We feel very fortunate to be able to attract designers of this calibre to our (already outstanding) team. As both John & Tina have vast portfolios from their previous work, we've set up independent websites for them.  We're sure a lot of it will be familiar to you.

Tina Foreman - Graphic Designer

Tina started her design career in Sydney.  Moving back to Perth, she initially ran her own art studio and worked with West Surfing Products on designing their brand and foundation clothing range. Since she's moved back into corporate design, Tina has worked with a range of clients including CBH Group, Woodside Energy, Deckchair Theatre and MDA National.  She  also worked closely with Michael Leslie to design and launch his brand, website and prospectus for the Michael Leslie Foundation for the Performing Arts.

PSG - Practical Solutions Group

Practical Solutions Group (PSG) is a professional risk management consultancy, offering a full range of HSE consulting and training solutions. PSG works in a wide range of industries including Aeronautical, Construction, Defence, Engineering, Mining, Petrochemicals, Shipping, Manufacturing, Utilities and Waste Management.

PSG approached Tangelo initially to develop their marketing material and then expanded the project to a full rebrand of its corporate identity.

Here's what PSG's Managing Director, Malcolm Gresham had to say about Tangelo Creative.

The work produced for us by the Tangelo Team has been fantastic. We provided them with a difficult brief - offline marketing materials for a Risk Management Consulting & Training company. However, following the initial meeting with Kim and Laura, I was confident they would deliver. In fact they far exceeded my expectations and even convinced me that we needed to undertake a full Corporate rebranding. The feedback from our team and clients has been very positive. I wish working with all of our suppliers was this easy. I have already recommended a number of people contact Tangelo and will continue to do so.

Simply Forno, simply the best

Our latest project with Forno Woodfired Ovens has been to design and build a new website. Bart worked with Forno's owner, Rob Miorada to create a warm, inviting website to showcase the Forno products.  It's easy to navigate and has a strong visual appeal. Visit their website at www.forno.com.au

EquipRent - Everything earthmoving

EquipRent is an earthmoving equipment hire company based in Perth. They specialise in hiring equipment to contractors in the mining and contruction industries.

After being referred by another client, EquipRent asked us to develop a new logo and roll out their corporate identity across their equipment fleet, light vehicles, signage and marketing collateral. The overall effect is a strong brand with a logo symbol "ER" that works in isolation or with the full name as a logotype.

SAA Information Systems

Another recent web project for us was the design of website graphics for SAA Information Systems. SAA helps businesses by providing objective planning and procurement of new software systems.

We designed the look and feel of the site and then handed the website "skins"  over to SAA's coder to build the site. This site is a good example of what can be achieved when designers and coders work together. You can have a look at the website at www.systemsanalysts.com.au/

Bass Metals on show at PDAC

Bass Metals had another successful exhibition this year at PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) in Toronto, Canada - think of Diggers & Dealers with snow. Tangelo again designed and coordinated all of the tradeshow booth art and marketing material here in WA and coodinated the printing and delivery in Toronto. Again it all went smoothly and our canadian printers did a great job and delivered all of the material directly to Bass's tradeshow booth. Just think nothing to get lost in transit, no excess baggage and a lot less stress. If your exhibiting anywhere in the world give us a call and we can organise it all for you.
